In an effort to utilize more of the table centers during center time (and break some of them out of their comfort zone), I have decided to not put out the block and dramatic play centers first thing in the morning every day.  I'll see how it goes- it seems like a valuable change so far.

Circle Time

Opening eggs to find out if they got an uppercase R, a lowercase r, or another letter trying to sneak in with the Rr's.

We practiced scooping during snack time- we also are practicing pouring water from a pitcher.

Another number bag activity...after looking at the three numbers, building a stack of blocks to match each number, and putting the numbers in order, we are finding out which number he picked

After finishing the number bag, we used the blocks to talk about patterns



They are practicing making their own patterns- it's our first day of talking about patterns, so we'll keep working on it :)

Rolling it out- yes, it does look like there is a lot of flour on it but even after sticking the dough in the freezer it was super sticky.  We had to use our imaginations that the final result actually looked like gingerbread men :).
