2018-2019 Enrollment Information

Hello! My name is Jill, I am a certified teacher, and I teach preschool out of my home.  I love it!  I earned my degree in elementary education and taught in the elementary school for 5 years before my first child was born. After he was born I started a home preschool and have done that for 8 years.  I have 4 kids and my youngest will begin Kindergarten this fall. I will miss having my own kiddos with me but I'm so excited to continue teaching preschool and plan on doing it for many more years to come.

Preschool Program

* Literature and theme based curriculum including a study of the world around us (Science, Holidays, Social Studies, etc. . .)
* Creative and cooperative play
* Shapes, colors, numbers and counting, letter recognition, phonics, Science activities, pre-reading and writing skills
* Songs and poems
* Development of fine motor skills through art projects, sensory play and writing activities
* Exercise through outdoor play and indoor imagination adventures
* Celebrations throughout the year

Taught:  Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30-12:00 for children aged 3-5

Cost: $75 for registration and supplies for the year (this will also hold your child's place for the coming year), $85 per month

If you want to know what I have done in the past, click on this link What Do We Do At Preschool?.
If you want to see pictures from the past, scroll through the blog.  I won't keep everything the same, and the pictures don't show everything (there aren't a lot from lesson times because I am busy teaching), but I think it is a great way to get an idea of what my preschool is like.

March Pictures / April Schedule

Trying to capture St Patrick's Day treasure in the bean box

Library time

Flying the kites we made

Tearing paper to stick on the sticky wall

Making rainbows

Making rainbow necklaces

Fun with chalk

Balancing on a rainbow

Hunting for gold

They love getting new things in the bean box and they were excited about the Easter theme.

Learning letters with eggs

They love this simple number game...I hid a paper Easter egg under one of the calendar numbers.  They took turns picking a number, finding and identifying it, then looking under that number to see if the egg was there.

We sang a song called "all the bunnies fast asleep" and then they asked if we could sing the song again but make it "all the bats fast asleep". They were very cute hanging by their feet to sleep!
