I have had so much fun converting the basement to my preschool classroom. We are doing a co-op with a few friends this year and it's been a lot of fun.

In an effort to utilize more of the table centers during center time (and break some of them out of their comfort zone), I have decided to not put out the block and dramatic play centers first thing in the morning every day.  I'll see how it goes- it seems like a valuable change so far.

Circle Time

Opening eggs to find out if they got an uppercase R, a lowercase r, or another letter trying to sneak in with the Rr's.

We practiced scooping during snack time- we also are practicing pouring water from a pitcher.
